A rework on one of the old used canvases.
Just like wiping out the previous drawing with white gesso, i do hope that my 2011 can begin with fresh eyes and renewed mind - continues to be blessed by God's grace. And, everyday is a great present to live and to love!
And, yes, the old marks cannot be totally erased. The traces (the scars) can still be seen... yet they will be my stepping stone to move on.
Happy New Year.

Wonderful illustration! Have a wonderful new year!
I like it...and so true, about the old marks not being completely erased. But being there to work with, and make new things with.....
Happy New Year, Eng! :)
Happy New Year to you too! Love the texture in this one :)

Very sweet illo.
Fantastic illo!
Happy New Year!
I think the illustration is sweet and adorable and I do like seeing the texture of the old painting underneath. Building from the old to form something new is great!
Oh gosh, I love, love, love your paintings. They are like the loveliest of dreams! Wish I could close my eyes and be there.
indeed Owly. I know it's bit too late, but yes, happy new year. 2011 - and incoming chinese new year too! (yeah, i am greedy, ahhaha...)
Beautiful rework! I don't see any scars or flaw...I just see art, and it's all what this is. =) I really really like the series and hope that it'll get published.
