Sketches from Pulau Perhentian

Lazing in front of the chalets. Napping, reading, watching people or simply doing nothing...what an idle afternoon...

A young mother-to-be was having a siesta on the beach after lunch.

Waiting for lunch at Malay eatery, Long Beach. Despite the hot and humid air, people still preferred to have al fresco lunch facing the water... I think it was because of the irresistible charm of the turquoise sea and the blue clear sky.

(My little sketchbook was left on the beach, so napkin was used to sketch instead. The colours were added in with computer after our return.)
