The first 4 drawings in my first moleskine (3.5 x 5.5 inches)

It is different to work on moleskine compared to the usual sketch books or water colour paper. It is kind of smoother and the paper seems to be slightly water resistant.

WOWWWW!!! BeYOOOOOtiful! I am so envious. I have some moleskines but am so afraid to mark them up. If I could paint like you, I'd fill them up in a day. Oooh, I love your wispy white clouds!

These a great still!
As for the Moleskine problem, I hear you and understand you very well. I tried watercolor on my first sketchbook and quickly learned that a typical Moleskine sketchbook is not meant for wet media. Ink, pencils, or any dry media is fine, but watercolor simply won't stick..and when you put more, they seep through.
I'd recommend "watercolor version" of Moleskine, which come in Pink wrap-around tags. You won't miss it, and I think you'd find that a lot more suitable for your choice of media =) Good luck!

Stunning stuff. I had same problem with watercolours in moleskine, I found if you dampen paper first with water, it takes the colour better. But the watercolour books are the best. Amazon is nearly half the price of the local book chain, sorry for the plug.
